Feasibility, Viability and Option Appraisals
A critical and fundamental requirement for all development projects is to ensure the scheme is financially viable and that the budgets set are sufficient to deliver the client’s requirements.
At C&CC we are proficient in running developer or purchaser appraisals to illustrate scheme finances and required key metrics in order to inform investment decisions. Or indeed to show what a residual land offer should be for a land site offer.
We’re experienced in using differing appraisal and viability software packages and will advise on alternative scheme mixes to maximise the return from the development proposals.
Whether we are working for a council or a private client, a view on what is likely to ‘best fit’ within the site and a financial assessment of outturn values and costs is included to understand the inherent value in the land. We offer Option Appraisals for landowners on sites to illustrate what might fit on the land in development terms and to provide an estimated development value.
Given C&CC’s wide range of clients, we stay current and well informed on the markets we operate in. This means that we have a handle on fluctuating financial metrics such as build costs for differing development types of developments including tenures and densities. Internally, we share information meaning that the C&CC team have the most up-to-date information to allow for realistic build costs and budgets.
